The Mystery of Christianity
Colossians 1: 12 – 20 & 2:6 -10
The Christian life has mystery to it and by mystery I mean ‘truth that is hidden from people looking with their intellect so that these truth can only discovered by those searching from the heart”
God hides truth from us, not to keep it from us, but because He wants us to possess truth by going through the process of finding it for ourselves
God has hidden truths from you so you can find them for yourself – and when you do you have uncovered a mystery that can now become a part of your experience
So here is a spiritual mystery that each of us need to discover for ourselves -
Our hope of experiencing a victorious Christian life is based on our learning how to draw upon the Spirit of Jesus in us
This is a mystery, but of course it is because True Christianity is Supernatural and if it isn’t then it is fake
In answer to our deepest needs, God doesn’t present us with a book, a variety of gifts or list of religious activity to do…He presents with the answer of ‘ Christ in us’
This Mystery is the prophetic message behind Communion – we are acting out this spiritual mystery of Christ in us – our hope of Glory
The cup speaks to us of the blood of Jesus which possesses the Life of Jesus.
The life of Jesus was subjected to every temptation known to man and yet he overcame them all.
The life of Jesus has encountered and conquered every problem / trial and temptation that you are ever going to face in life
HERE COMES THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS!! HERE COMES THE GREAT EXCHANGE……..I receive by faith the spirit of Christ’s life flowing into my life … now what is true of HIS life is true of ME .I have been given fullness in Christ.
