ChicChat August Edition!!
Hi Girls,
Welcome to our first ChicChat blog! Can you believe another year is flying by and we are already in August. Hope you and all you love are travelling well this year and are flourishing in whatever you are doing. I was talking to a girlfriend just today and we were chatting about disappointments in life and how they can really make you feel sad. In fact Proverbs actually says “Hope deferred makes the heart sad””. If you are in that place at the moment take heart and let me leave you this month with two great Godly strategies to think on. Number one is to continually be re-adjusting our expectations , so often as woman we set the bar too high and approach life with a Cinderella mentality. So reality check girls, life is a challenge and we need to be regularly re-evaluating our expectation level. Number two is to make a choice to spend your thought life dwelling on those things in your life that you are thankful for. If you choose to always dwell on all the negatives in your world you will continue to live a disappointed existence. That’s it for now, chat with you again in September. Don’t forget that you are an absolute champion and a beloved daughter of the most high God!.
