WOW Team

Worshippers On Watch (W.O.W) Team

At Perth CLC we have a group of Worshippers on Watch, commonly referred to as the W.O.W. team. This team exists to pray for our main weekly celebration meetings.
 
Members of the team are rostered on a monthly basis to go to the prayer room and pray instead of attending the meeting. In that time they praise and thank God for who He is, for all that He is to us and all that He will be to us. They pray ‘ Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done’. They uphold before God the Father and Jesus Christ our Lord the worship leader, the musicians, the singers, the pastor/speaker, the congregation, the Children’s Church and all other aspects of our gathering together. They ask the Holy Spirit to direct them in how to specifically pray for that particular meeting.

The reward of participating in the W.O.W. team is the experience of being brought into unity in the spirit to pray for the one cause and to sense the Holy Spirit’s leading, which is so often confirmed later.

Just spending one and a half hours concentrating on the Lord of Lords and His Word is reward in itself. To quote one W.O.W. enthusiast ‘It is great. I love it, I can’t wait for my next turn to come around’.
Ephesians 6:18b says ‘be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints’.
