You may have already heard about the E4 Ministry introduced to PCLC during the first quarter of 2009 . E4 has now been running for almost a year. We serve 9 care receivers with 31 men providing a range of services to their care receivers. Teams head out on the last Saturday of every month.
Jesus said in John 13:34 “a new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. "
E4 is a Ministry based on a very successful program structure that has been operating for the last 14 years in the USA and has extended its blessings to many other countries around the World. The program is designed to appeal to all men – Everyman – we get to fix stuff for those in need whilst at the same time demonstrating His light within us.
The concept is that we show the love of Christ through good works on a consistent and committed basis. Teams of 4 men will be allocated a care receiver, from out of our congregation at PerthCLC. The care receiver will be chosen by our Pastoral Care team and could be a widow, widower, single parent, or indeed someone in genuine need of help. The 4 man team visit the care receivers house for 2 hours one Saturday a month to do repairs, maintenance or odd jobs for them that they simply cannot do themselves. The men will form a relationship that goes from making good gestures to showing the love of Christ in what they do.

The E4 Ministry is about doing good works and creating relationships between both a care giver and care receiver. E4 gives Everyman of PerthCLC, and importantly you individually as a Godly man, the opportunity to display Christs love through what you do . You will be blessed as you make life better and bless others.
