Course Outline
Syllabus - Part 1
1. Developing Spiritual Sensitivity
God is a Spirit, therefore it follows that the primary way we interact with God and His word is via our Spirit. Our Western Culture is sensitized towards our soul and body and as a result, our spiritual sensitivity can be under developed. In this module the student will learn:-
• How to hear the ‘voice’ of God
• Discover the unique way that God communicates to you as an individual
• Develop your Spiritual language (tongues)
• Ministering the gifts of the Spirit with confidence
• Understand the realities of the Spirit world
2. Developing Christ-Centred Character
This module provides the student with an understanding of how to connect with and release the Spirit of Jesus through their lives. Christ-likeness does not come about through observing rigid rules and disciplines; Christ-likeness is the visible fruit of the invisible work of the Spirit of Christ manifesting Himself through the life of the Disciple. Topics covered in this module include:-
• Living a life of integrity
• Accessing the wisdom from above
• Renewing the mind
• Living in trust and surrender
• Discovering your prayer style
3. Freedom through Personal Transformation
If you were a totally free person, how would you behave? God has not given you a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, of love and a sound mind, therefore the best ‘you’ is found when you are living a God centred, Spirit empowered life. In this module you will be guided through personal transformation through:-
• Frequent Holy Spirit encounters
• Increasing your capacity to receive from the Spirit of God
• Understanding the Love of God as the foundation for your relationship with God
• Understanding yourself and thus improving your relationships with others
4. The Kingdom of God
The Kingdom of God is not a geographical location. God’s Kingdom exists wherever his rule and authority is manifest. In this module the student will learn:-
• Why the Kingdom of God was the core message of Jesus’ ministry
• The believer’s authority in God’s Kingdom
• The mission of the Church to manifest the Kingdom
5. Practical Activation
Throughout this course the student will be given practical teaching on how to co-operate with the Holy Spirit to minister His gifts to others. The student will operate in the gifts under supervision in the classroom and then be given assignments to minister what they are learning to others in the ‘marketplace’.
Syllabus – Part 2
The Joshua Generation School of Supernatural Ministry syllabus also includes teaching modules from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, in Redding USA. These modules provide further potency to the syllabus, with a specific focus on empowering students to pursue a supernatural lifestyle.
